Description: RARE 2006 Shelly Thornton Edie Doll NIADIA Convention Tonner Doll Company. Very Hard to Find "Edie" Souvenir - 2006 Artist Shelley Thornton. She is in good condition, missing her hair bow. Edie was Shelley Thornton's contribution to commemorate the 2006 Conference held in Minneapolis. Edie is 10.5 inch tall. Her all-vinyl body has sculpted and painted underwear and shoes, and jointed hips and shoulders. Her sculpted hair is flocked to be reminiscent of Shelley's signature style stuffed cloth-sculpted hair on her one-of-a-kind cloth dolls. Edie wears a dress of retro vintage prints. Edie was produced with the help of Robert Tonner and Tonner Doll Company. The doll was bought in an estate sale from a Tonner doll's collector. I do NOT have box, tag or COA for it. No scratches, marks, or chips in her body, hair has some small marks, but I think is of manufactured. The doll was on display for years on open shelves/ bookcases without any protection, so as a result, they have a little a lot of dust in it.
