Description: This super rare American 48 star Flag is rather huge. 5'x9 1/2'. It was manufactured by Collegeville Flag & Mfg. Co. : Collegeville, PA. Pennsylvania. It reads: "Dudley McDonald Riddle September 23, 1891 - October 29, 1941. Sanitary 139th Field Hospital - 35th Division U.S.A." It is in excellent condition, minus a couple of small stains. I did not try to mess with them, as I didn't want to risk ruining it. I'm confident it can be cleaned. This is a rare 48-star American flag that was flown by the 35th Division 139th Field Hospital from 1891 to 1941.
