The Amethyst Druzy seen in this geode is another rare characteristic, very shiny, lustruous and with many different growing forms, as the pair of double-terminated points right in front of the specimen and the larger druzy on the sides and back. And all over the geode the amethyst druzy mixes with hematite and golden goethite, creating spectacle of sparkles. The geode itself is a piece of art, the matrix is composed by agate, highlighting the beautiful natural drawings of the outer layer which still brings the natural basalt from the mine, the natural flowers and forms a base for the main stalactite. We ask ourselves: How this stalactite formed but we couldn't find a perfect answer for this question. Possibly the stalactite formed in a slow process and in another era the quartz took place on top of it, millions of years in the making.
