Description: EXTREMELY RARE As The Petals LAZELL Gold Twinette Compact from 1922. This beautiful Art Deco Compact has two mirrors inside it. The top raised design opens and still holds what I believe is some original Rouge or blush with mirror and the bottom also opens which held face powder and also has a mirror. Both areas close and latch perfectly. There is some light fading to the gold on the bottom of this compact, which is expected for an item of this age. The mirrors are shown next to each other in the pictures above. The bottom mirror is harder to see, but it is shown immediately after the smaller rouge mirror. The bottom mirror does have a darker age ring inside it as well, but is still in great condition. Top reads: As The Petals Lazell. Bottom reads: TWINETTE Pat’d July 18, 1922. This particular compact is EXTREMELY Hard to Find, especially with Original makeup included and both mirrors intact. Don’t let this beautiful piece of Art Deco work and history pass you by.
