Description: Up for sale is a Rare Antique Original Brass Parlor Lamp with a Cupid Statue. The oil kerosene part is marked RAYO and the part is dated Nov. 20, 1894, and Feb. 28, 1905. The brass kerosene chamber is very ornately embossed. The base and the cupid I think are either cast iron or bronze. The inner Rayo part can be taken out and this can be easily converted to electricity if desired. The brass ring that holds the white milk glass shade is new as is the chimney. I think the shade has some age and is not brand new, but is not original. I have been told that this could be a Bradley and Hubbard lamp, but it is unmarked. It is however of that quality. It measures 20" tall, approximately 6" in diameter, and 29.5" tall with shade and chimney. Not sure if it would still work as a kerosene lamp? It would definitely need a wick and perhaps some other parts? Please message me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking. *** Please note: This may have to be Taken apart and shipped in 2 separate packages so the shade and chimney can be well protected.
