Description: This listing is for a rare antique English bracket clock This clock is quite gorgeous featuring a lacquered wooden case, gilt bronze ornamentation, 2 tone dial, and an 8 bell triple chain fusee movement The clock is signed on the ornately engraved movement “Jas Eliote, London.” We were told that this might have been a signature for clockmaker “J.J. Elliott.” The clock has quarter strike feature in which the 8 bells play a tune This clock is large and extremely heavy. 12.5 x 8.25 x 18 inches. The clock appears to be in overall good condition. Minor signs of normal wear and age present Skeleton keys for front and back door present The movement is was last serviced in 2021 It ran when recently tested.
