Description: Rare Antique George V Shelley England Tapered China Teapot Cobalt Trim 1912-1925 DetailsHeight : 14.5cmWeight : 515gm This lovely antique Shelley bone china teapot is in very good condition with nochips or cracks. The cobalt trim is intact. Very attractive swirl pattern tothe front of the spout.There is very fine age induced crazing only visible under light and magnification, which is to be expected in antique bone china. The teapot would hold eight small cups at a pinch, but I'd call it a 6 cuppa as it's very heavy if filled to the brim. The backstamp was used by Shelley between 1912-1925, putting this teapot in the reign of George V.
