RARE Antique Oriental Carved Wood Plant Stand ABALONE INSERTS & MARBLE TOP!

Description: Here we have an absolutely SPECTACULAR and RARE Antique Oriental Wood HAND CARVED Plant Stand or Table with floral shaped ABALONE INSERTS on the top and down the sides for 9" too! I HAVE SEEN SOME OF THESE TABLES BUT NOT WITH THE ABALONE INSERTS!!! Can you imagine how much work it took to cut out the places for the abalone and cut the abalone too?!! It has a FABULOUS ROSE MARBLE TOP! FANTASTIC HAND CARVED with flowers inside 4 CARTOUCHES with cut outs! GORGEOUS leaves carved all the way down the legs and PAW FEET! The top has carved wood and it resembles rouching. (resembling material gathered all around the rim edge.) The abalone is just GORGEOUS inset into the wood with flowers and leaf shapes! So many FANTASTIC colors! The wood is dark wood and the top is a rose marble. It measures just under 35 3/4” tall and 13 ½” by 13 1/2” at the feet. The marble insert is 7” in diameter and is inset into the wood and there is the abalone all around it. Really great shape for how old this piece is. Some separation where the wood is pieced together on the top and a little down the sides. There are some small abalone pieces missing and one place where a piece of wood is chipped out measuring 3/8 by ½”on the top and there is one that is 1/8” wide on the other side. (But if you put a plant on it, it will cover them and they are not that bad.) Please see the last photo of the top for the larger one. This is a very old piece and having a few dings and all is normal for it. I wish I could keep it but I am so out of room or I would because I just love it!
