Description: This is an original and rare vintage (early 20th century) wood Boletto game in the original box, marked F.H. Ayres (of London) on the box. This box contains eight different colored pucks and four cues with different colored stripes on them, and another wood piece that may not have come in the original game. There are no instructions and I have not found any other examples of this to compare it to, so I do not know if it is a complete set. The box has wire hinges that are disconnected, but the hook and eye latches are intact on the front edge of the lid and box. The box has some heavier wear and the markings are a little difficult to read, but it is solid and sturdy even with some heavier wear to the wood. All pieces inside are in good shape with some wear to the paint, but nothing is cracked, broken, or repaired, and all are marked Boletto (except the white piece). The box measures 36" L x 5" W x 3 1/2" H and will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping. Please provide a street address for shipping as this will not be delivered to a PO box.
