Description: You are bidding on an antique/vintage Tricycle BICYCLE SEAT & STEM. Some rust as you can see. Nice old paint (blue painted over a reddish orange). I don't know anything about old bike seats, but I understand this one has a very narrow stem and likely came off a tricycle. No manufacturer marking that I can find or read (there is a circular outline under the center of the seat with some indent writing on the bottom filled with dirt that I can't decipher). Hopefully you will know based on the top of the seat pattern as this looks quite distinctive. No cracks to the seat itself (just paint crazing). I took a strong magnet to the seat and it is clearly some form of metal underneath the paint, although the magnet does not bind strongly to the seat. A unique great looking seat that has patina from age so it would be great on an original rider!
