Rare Carole Little Sheared Leopard Stencil Beaver Fur Coat w/Mongolian Fur Trim

Description: I own three Carole Little fur coats, and they are absolutely amazing. They definitely make a statement while keeping you warm! The seller told me this was stenciled sheared beaver and while I am not a fur expert, I think it might well be. I know some of these can be rabbit but somehow this just doesn't quite feel like rabbit to me, and I feel if they wanted rabbit to look like leopard, they would have dyed a more golden color, but I may be wrong. And really who cares, it is magnificent. I love Mongolian fur so the collar is the icing on the cake! These coats are quite hard to find. As always it was quite difficult to capture the true color. It is not as gold as some leopard prints are as more beige and brown which makes sense if it is beaver. Long, it has a slight cocoon style as comes in slightly at bottom and curved at front bottom sides. I think someone added that tortoise looking deco belt button as all the ones I have seen have the regular fur hooks. There is also another button higher up that again may have been added to close it more at the top. Then there is a regular fur hook more towards the bottom so you can really button it up. Fully lined and quite warm to say the least. Side seam pockets. Really no need to say more, this is divine. It is in good vintage condition. When first got thought it was flawless but when photographing and closely scrutinizing did see a few tiny openings; they are hard to see due to the fur and one tiny slit is under the collar and a slightly larger one on each shoulder so not all that visible. Probably due to hanging on hanger as this is on the heavier side. I poked around under the arms and found an opening maybe the size of a pea under one deep down. The only one that is the least bit visible is the one near the shoulder. I would just close with a couple of stitches or you can always use tape. But considering this is @50 years old not bad. It is a larger size and will definitely work for any gender. The seller said it was a medium but no labels and seems larger to me. I am a 12 and fits fine and could go larger. The model in pix is more like an 8/10 and on the shorter side.
