Description: "This is kind of a rare bird. You could call this either a late First Variant or early Second Variant. These had a different checkering pattern on the stock and forend than the "official" second variant, the forend was "fatter", and the stock set was made from compressed wood fiber rather than plastic. The stock was also a lighter color than the plastic and had almost a painted finish.
