Description: Very Rare Dansk Variation 5 Extra Long Salad Serving Set I have handled thousands of pieces in this pattern. This extra long serving set is SIGNIFICANTLY harder to find than the typical salad serving set in my other listing. The bid price is for ONE EXTRA LONG 2-PIECE SALAD SERVING SET. I also have a few single pieces. All the pieces I have seen in this configuration were made in either Denmark or Germany, even though other pieces in this line were made in many additional countries. The ones made in Denmark are about 10-3/4" long. The ones made in Germany are slightly longer, measuring about 10-7/8" long. You can select the country and the quantity that you need of each in the box above. This is a very desirable mid-century modern design, created by the famous designer and sculptor Jens Quistgaard for Dansk. I also have more matching pieces made in other countries in my other listings. All pieces were made with heavy, high quality, stainless steel. The forks and spoons are 18/8 stainless steel which holds up very well with age. Each piece is hand-finished and shows very minor variations.
