The watch is in very good overall condition and keeps time. The Case is made of stainless steel with simulated diamonds above and below the dial. The black dial is signed 'E. Gubelin' above 12:00 position, 'DuoPlan' below 12:00 position, and 'Swiss' below 6:00 position. The watch features a mechanical manual wind movement; the case back stamped '65193. The back of the case is also monogrammed E.M.T. Case measured 10mm wide x 31mm long x 6mm thick. Please make note the hinge on the back does not the pin, so the back looks like it would come completely off when accessing the movement. Built on two superimposed planes, the Duoplan calibre was an invitation for both companies to express their creativity with beautiful and inventive designs. It was also a revolution for LeCoultre & Cie, which, thanks to the Duoplan, made the transition from a movement and component producer to a full-fledged watch manufacturer. E Gubelin was the retailer of this fantastic timepiece.
