Description: Up for auction is this very very RARE Edwardian 14k gold saphiret man in the moon pendant! It is mesmerizing. Looks to me like the bezel frame was made to fit the stone. It is not marked but testes as 14 karat gold. He is in amazing condition for its age. Under loop magnification I see a skip Or a tiny sliver that does not have the matte finish on it. I’m telling you it’s very hard to see but I’m mentioning it so there are no problems with the sale.. the best shot I could get of it was photo number 9. It’s on the right hand side above his eyebrow. You may not even see it , it’s so tiny. The pendant is heavy weighing 8.3 grams. Such a rare piece! Great condition besides the tiny skip or flake as described.. sold as is.
