Description: Rare Find antique 1909 CT Altwasser Silesia, Poland pretty pink rose buds with green edging & gold filigree Covered vegetable Dish. Dish is in excellent condition. Dish features a green band around edge of dish that is trimmed by a gold band. Dainty pink rose buds on a green vine encircle the edge of the lid and also around the center of the dish itself. Dish has no chips, cracks, stains or scratches. There is a small area on the edge of the lid that is slightly folded over that occurred in the production of the piece. (Please see closeup picture). Thanks to information on C.T. Altwasser Backstamps provided online by ‘The Old Stuff’ this dish can be recognized as being produced in Silesia, Poland between 1909 & 1934.
