It stands about 14 inches tall to the top of the cat's hat (see pictures). The scuffs and scratches are part of the design to give it a vintage and distressed look (see pictures). I point out a couple paint scuffs in the pictures. The bottom button is also a little looser than the other buttons and I point it out in the pictures. It seems to be a mix of various materials, maybe also paper mache, but unsure. You get exactly what is pictured.
