He died in 1981 of Leukemia at the age of 40.Legends Fine Arts Gallery in Kansas still offers a few remaining pieces done by Garry. There are a couple pieces of his work available on ebay, ONLY a couple. The pitcher is 7" tall and 5 3/4" across the top and weighs almost 3lbs. It holds 2 Quarts. One cup is a little bigger than the other. It is 4 1/4" tall and 3 3/4" across the top. It holds 16oz. The smaller cup is 4" tall and 3 1/2" across the top. It holds 12oz.
