Description: RARE Georg Jensen 1950s Timeless Vintage Sterling Silver Choker Necklace # 94 A The Georg Jensen Vintage Sterling Silver Necklace #94a is part of the Heritage collection, which is inspired by original Art Nouveau designs from the 19th century. The necklace's curved lines and natural motifs are characteristic of the Art Nouveau style. Modernist leaf motif links flow around this vintage 1950s sterling silver Georg Jensen choker necklace. This piece has a sort of timeless elegant style. Each 18mm x 11.9mm link is oval-shaped with connectors at each end. The links have a deeply carved leaf design and spherical dots placed closer to slightly wider ends. The necklace is of extremely well-crafted heavy solid silver construction. It stretches 15.5 inches long and closes with a hidden box clasp and safety clip. The clasp back is signed, "Georg Jensen" with incised lettering inside of a dotted oval (hallmark first used in 1945). It is also stamped, "Sterling, Denmark" along with design pattern number "94 A".
