Description: Here we have a vintage Dark Blue and Gray Girl Scout Senior Service bars awarded for Public Relations, which was available from 1962 to 1979. It has a simple J-hook clasp and it measures about 3/4 inch in diameter by 1/4 inch tall. These older pins were painted from 1953 to 1980. The painted pins were very fragile and the paint chipped quite easily. While service bars were still available after 1980, they had a flat enamel finish.
