Description: Unusually shaped serving set includes: ONE handled plate which measures 7 inches long x 6.75 inches wide and FIVE small matching plates which measure approximately 3.75 inches long x 3.5 inches wide. All are trimmed in shiny gold with brown (morning glory-shaped) leaves and tendrils and golden yellow pods or unopened flowers. Each piece is signed on the back with WUNSIEDEL / R / BAVARIA PORZELLAN / 1. I could not find anything to compare this to; the small dishes are butter pat-sized so this may be a butter set of some type. The large plate has some very light wear visible on outer edge of the gold handle, otherwise this unique set is in very good pre-owned condition.
