Marcus Uzilevsky was born in New York, USA on the year of 1937. He found interest from art from young age. With his talent, he worked as commercial artist for an automobile accessory store. He later decided commercial art wasn’t enough for him and picked up a guitar, performing together with Bob Dylan. Despite his passion for music, he eventually returned to visual arts. He has won many awards for his art and some of his pieces are permanent addition to some juried museums. He unfortunately passed away on 2015 but his works live on in collections around the world.
