Description: Offering up a pretty rare vintage N. N. Hill Brass Co. (assumed 1940s) ride on pull toy. This piece is about he full package in terms of bells and whistles from their offerings. It is a 20-1/2" long x 7" wide x 14" tall wooden rocking horse decorated with lithographed circus figures paper as well as some hand painting. It is a ride on pull toy. there is a seat back, a handle bar, a bell adorned harness, and a set of 4 interior frame mounted metal bell ringing wheels mounted on metal bracketed wood dowel axles. It really seems like an experimental hybrid between a traditional pull toy and a riding toy. As evidenced by the markings, both the wood rocking horse frame and the metal bell wheels are all labeled with the N N Hill Brass Co logo. I have seen the rocking horse without the wheels or the belled harness, and I have seen numerous pull toys with the same design of ringing wheels, but I have not seen this unique pairing of the 2.
