Description: Features roses with soft green leaves around the inside rim with gold accents. Lovely piece. Cottage, country, traditional décor. Please see photos. The bowl measures almost 10" in diameter at its widest and just over 2 1/2" deep. The antique bowl is made in Japan and has a printed backstamp, "Hand Painted NIPPON" with the BLUE RISING SUN MARK. This would date it to be produced between 1911-1921. It is part of the NIP23 product line from the brand Nippon. On the back, you can see a little bit of wear/scraping as seen in the pictures. On the front, there is a small blue dot. Other than that, this rare piece is in wonderful condition. This would be a lovely stand alone piece or mixed in with other patterns for a shabby-chic vibe. If you're a collector, this would make a wonderful addition to your set.
