Nidhoggr, the formidable dragon, stands ready to strike on the obverse of this round. He resides at the base of the World Tree, Yggdrasil. All day and all night, Nhggr gnaws at the roots of the tree and causes destruction. Spikes protruding from his tail present a deadly force to any foes willing to approach the beast. On the obverse, Yggdrasil is displayed in all its glory. The beautiful and grandiose World Tree is home to many creatures, including the stag, raven, and serpent.
