Description: For sale: a page from an album associated with the 304th Engineer Rgt. of the 79th Division. The first photo is a knocked out French St. Chamond tank. It is captioned "U.S. Tank near Dun-sur-Meuse"The St. Chamond was the second tank produced by France, and only 377 were produced, and photos of them are relatively hard to come by. Please note that despite the caption there is no record of St. Chamonds in AEF service. The letters "US" visible on the side of the tank do not resemble US insignia. The second photo is captioned "American Artillery in action Sagmoneux Hill" and features an American artillery piece. The photos are approximately 3' x 5" See my auctions for similar items
