Description: Philodendron hederaceum 'Rio' isa rare, low-maintenance, and exotic-looking houseplant with a unique variegated leaf pattern: Appearance:The leaves are heart-shaped and have a silver, cream, and dark green pattern that works from the center outwards. Size:Can grow up to 20 ft tall and 1-2 ft wide. Origin:A genetic mutation of the Philodendron Brasil that originated in Brazil and was named after the city. She is a good size, very well established one whose variegation is consistent throughout the new leaves and new growths with multiple nodes, and aerial roots. She stands at 15" tall by 10" wide and leaves measure 5.25" long by 2.5" wide. Usually offered as a cutting with a single node, but she is so well rooted and acclimated that you don't have to stress about rooting her. You can just watch her grow larger and taller as she is also a fast grower. Place in a bright room away from direct sunlight, pot in an aroid mix and water when the top inch or 2 of soil feels dry.
