Description: Here is a neat combo specimen featuring quartz pseudomorphed after smithsonite, smithsonite and hemimorphite crystals from the rare locale: Skorpion Mine, Rosh Pinah, Namibia. On one side there are multiple hollowed out botryoids of quartz after smithsonite as well as fine-grained quartz over botryoids of smithsonite. The smithsonite is pale grey to white in color. On the opposite side, there is a deposit of hemimorphite crystals overlaying smithsonite. There is a cavity separating both sides along the top with more hemimorphite and quartz coated smithsonite. This mine never produced much material for collectors and specimens had to be snuck out by miners. A beautiful piece with excellent coverage from this rare locale!Dimensions: 5.75 by 5.6 by 4.2 cm
