Description: Up for sale is a rare/scarce 1938 Charles H. (Henry) Alston "Deserted House" hand signed lithograph. Pencil signed #2 in lower right corner. Most likely 2nd impression on printing plate. Ink is dark and lithograph presents beautifully. Other known example is at the "Metropolitan Museum Of Art". Paper shows some foxing on border and light marking (pictured). Alston designed and painted murals at the Harlem Hospital and the Golden State Mutual Life Insurance Building.
