Description: This is a rare OOP kit produced by Semroc Astronautics of Knightdale NC before the founder died and the assets and rights were purchased by eRockets. Original Semroc kits are hard to find, and this one was a very limited run. It was originally designed by John Brohm as a custom kit exclusively for members of his local club's (Pittsburg Spacemodeling Club) 25th anniversary. That custom order was for 60 serial/numbered kits. After those kits were sold/distributed to the club members, Semroc briefly offered non-numbered kits to the general public. As one of Semroc's most active and loyal customers, having previously purchased very low numbers of nearly every kit they'd introduced, I jokingly told Sheryl how heartbroken I was to have missed out on this one, leaving a hole in my collection. As can be seen in the photo, she hand wrote a personalized "number" on the kit before shipping to me. So while it's not one of the 60 serialized kits sold to PSC, it does have a special backstory :-). The number/tag can easily be removed if you wish (attached via clear tape). Note that is is also an extremely rare design--it is multi-cluster-stage, meaning it initially boosts using (2) 18mm motors, then fires off another pair of second stage motors.
