Description: Up for auction is a vintage set of 35 of 36 Country Flag Cards from around the world. These cards are from 1939 and came from a company called Wilber-Suchard Chocolate Co. out of Philadelphia, PA Each card came in a Wilber-Suchard chocolate candy bar and if you collected 35 different cards and sent the names & addresses of 4 of your friends to the company, in return they would send you the 36th flag card along with a Wilber Flag Album. This information is all printed on the back of each card I searched the internet and eBay for a complete set of 36 cards but could not find any. My guess would be the 36th card would have been the USA Flag. I called Wilber Chocolate now in Lititz, Pa to see if they knew anything about these cards, no luck. I could not find any Wilber Flag Album. This is the only set on eBay with a complete set of 35 different flag cards, there is another set of 35 cards on eBay, but it had duplicate cards. This item was purchased at an estate sale and is being sold as pre-owned in very good, clean condition.
