Description: Here is a smooth running early GE electric motor model 26135 from the GE Schenectady NY. It’s got a 1/2” shaft with a D flat spot for a set screw. It is in good unrestored condition. Original black paint is in good shape with some scuffs/chips and a hand scribed rotation arrow, but no major drop dents or cracks. The fasteners are original tall acorns. The round GE badge has sharp lines, the label is in good condition and specs are easily legible. There is a cast base has 4 separate feet that are not repaired. There is a small amount of “flywheel end play” maybe 1mm or 1/16”, normal in all the motors I’ve had. There is a stubby plugged cord, and this runs great. No smoke or growling noises. It is very smooth and seems way stronger than 1/6hp. This seems like it’s in good running condition, however it has not been seriously inspected for long term use. Due to the age i can only sell this with the suggestion of at least checking the cord/wiring and any basic tune ups that would be required before for long term use. Sold as is shown. Please inspect pics for condition. Offers will be accepted depending on shipping price and other factors. Heavy! Shipping $35
