Description: Ebay's AI blows! Don't just read that... Read This ---> Here's a Nice Collectible Camera made by the Showa Optical Works Company--- made in Occupied Japan after World War II. It's a miniature or Sub-miniature as some say. The camera dates from 1949, when the USA was rebuilding Japan after the war. The camera is very interesting--- about as small as 16mm Subs could get--- see the ruler photos. Cosmetically, the Condition of the body is Very Good--- no major damage. There is a little oxidation/pitting of the polished silver parts, and there are some sections of leatherette missing in different places. But otherwise it looks great! Functionally the camera shutter fires and the glass looks good, but I don't really know how well it works for taking photos. But it clicks and it's nice and solid except for the small difficiencies--- so it's Bargain Priced! What you see is what you'll get. (Ruler Not Included). Continental US Shipping will be 10.50.
