Description: Here is a Rare Vintage Christmas scene of Santa Claus coming down a chimney scene. This was probably a store display or an art exhibit art piece back in the days. This beautiful Christmas scene shows Santa coming down the chimney in the amazement of a man peeking out. His cats are all in the same shock to see Santa as well. This is a classic scene seen in children books and has a personal handwritten Christmas message. The piece if made of wood (frame), cardboard, and cloth. The figures are made of of clay material not sure. Each figure was hand painted and made of this clay material. The inside is hand painted as well. This is a fantastic piece to have if you are a collector of old Christmas items. The piece measures Outside: 24" long, 30" tall, cardboard enclosure: 26 3/4" tall and 21 3/4" lone, 6 1/2 inches wide. It is in good used condition as seen in pics (wear on cardboard, fabric, staining, paint wear, dings, and small chips on figures. Please see pics and let me know if you have any questions. Sorry!
