This Royal Staffordshire Ceramics set was decorated by Clarice Cliff in England is back stamped and has REGD NO. 878478. It is from the Georgian period and features a courtship scene of man and woman seated at a piano in their period clothing and wigs. The cup features the same scene on the exterior of cup and a different scene inside; the man is leaning over the piano and the woman is wearing a purple dress. An incredibly beautiful set. The plate measures 10" in length and 6.5" at widest point. The cup measures 3 3/4" wide (not including handle) and 2 5/8" tall. Curio87
