Description: Up for grabs is this Vintage low serial number H.Hornlein 10cc or .60 equivalent 2 stroke nitro engine. This is a rare engine specially to find with muffler. Its condition is used, it is a bit marked up here and there but fully functioning if so desired. The bearings are smooth and the crankshaft has no play. The compression is still good and all original carb pieces are there and functioning. The carbs on these engines were one of the smoothest and best of their day. To be honest I think they work better then most modern o.s. saito and other carbs of today. These engines were manufactured by Hornlein and done very meticulously, the construction and craftsmanship were top notch for their era boasting one of the most reliable carburetors and unique engine construction of threaded sleeve and end caps making replacement of cylinders and bearing a little more pleasant.
