Description: The RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) received its designation of Royal on 1 April 1924. This cover was issued for the Quebec City Old Paper Show 26-27 October 2024. This cover has 1 x 8c Queen stamps overprinted for the show with the RCAF cancellation of the show and the 250th Act Cancellation. The stamp overprint relates to the SVQP show. The label on the right was also made for the show and honours the RCAF 100th anniversary. For the show the 1c, 2c, 3c and 8c Caricature stamps were overprinted with reference to either the RCAF 100th anniversary or the 250th anniversary of the Quebec act. There were also 2 cinderella labels for the show, one for the RCAF and one for the Quebec Act. Please view my other auctions for additional covers and Overprints from this and other shows.
