Description: "Remember When" This limited edition print is # 420 of 979. It is a still life of what the room of a young fan of the Reading Fairgrounds might have looked like. My father painstakingly rendered from life, all the elements of the bygone era. I remember watching him in amazement as he brought this scene to life. The is a great print for any fan of cars, racing, or the Reading Fairgrounds. This print measures 30" x 26". This is an professional offset lithograph print and not a computer printout like other sellers have. This print is personally signed and numbered in pencil by my father. Do not miss the opportunity to get this print at what I believe is a very fair price given how beautiful it is and the fact that once these prints sell out, there will NEVER be any others. About my Dad:John Dusko is a native of Pottstown, Pennsylvania. John has spent the last 60 plus years in Reading, Pennsylvania. As a young boy he always knew his calling was to be an artist and started studying art at the age of 10 with well known local Pennsylvania artist George "Bucky" Walters. John continued his studies in fine art and painting throughout his high school years and graduated in 1954 from the prestigious "New York School of Visual Arts" with a degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. Dusko credits much of his early & present success in the arts to his college teacher and mentor, internationally known artist Burne Hogarth, who at the time Dusko was attending college, was creating the drawings and illustrations for the "Tarzan" character. The influence of Mr. Hogarth can be evidenced in all of John's remarkable "true to life" work. After college and the Army (Korean War), Dusko returned home to work in advertising. As an Art Director, he designed magazines and Christmas Cards, created original illustrations, and accepted numerous personal commissions from clients. His original works can be found in personal collections up and down the East Coast. In 1993, John left advertising to paint full time. He continues to paint every day. And at age 90, he is producing what he considers his best work ever!John Dusko is officially represented by his son, Tony Dusko, as well as The Frame Guild in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.
