Description: REAL 1936 President Franklin D. Roosevelt FDR Autographed signed photo + MORE!. Let me explain this lot. These came from the estate of CARTOONIST Harry Hirshfield (1885-1974) who was very involved politically with the Democratic Party and was a Syndicated columnist based in New York City for the entire first half of the 20th century. There are five items in this collection but only #1 contains an authentic autograph. 1. This is a 6x8-in photograph of the president and also seems to include James Farley the Postmaster General who autographed beneath FDR. The picture is for Harry hirschfeld in the president's hand. 2, 3. These are 6x8 photographs showing President Roosevelt with Harry Hirschfield. 4. Measuring approximately 8x9 in this is a photographic reproduction of a telegraph from President Franklin Roosevelt in Washington on January 25th 1936 to Harry Hirshfield at New York's Hotel Astor. 5. This is a 5x7-in photographic reproduction of a presentation to Mr Hirshfield for his valued service to the stage and Screen division of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt's presidential campaign of 1932. All of these items were taken from the Hirschfied family estate and as I had stated earlier, only one of these-- which contains the actual handwritten autographs --- is an original document, the others are for provinance purposes shall be included with this document. Although this Photograph has not been sent in for certification I have been in the business for approximately 40 years and I wholeheartedly guarantee the authenticity of this autograph.
