Description: Genuine Shark Tooth & Medallion "Islander" Necklace This necklace has a 17" cord. I *think* the cord is made of leather, but I cannot say for sure with it being black in color. Whatever it is, it feels sturdy and unlikely to break on you. The metal medallion is roughly 1" in diameter (a little taller, actually). It's a little bit larger than a quarter, for reference. The shark tooth is small -- 1/2" high by about 11/16" wide. This necklace was a souvenir for my son, purchased at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas many years ago. It's vintage -- about 18-20 years old. (But he probably wore it once or twice. I'm selling most of his jewelry right now. 😐) It wasn't terribly expensive that I recall, so the metals involved probably aren't sterling silver, etc., but it has certainly aged well over the years! It's still very cool looking and would be a fun gift to someone who is into sharks or islands. 🏝️🥥🍹🦈☀️ Condition: Cord and clasp are in great shape. Some surface cracks to the top of the tooth, but they've probably been there all along. Metal might be a little tarnished? But it looks fine due to the "ancient" design of the medallion.
