This yarn, is made up of 3 strands. 2 strands of black with a multi colored loopy strand.4 hanks with a total of 1,124 yards.Acrylic/ Poly blendSoft (in my opinion). Uses: Crocheting, weaving, knitting, tapestry etc., the creative possibilities are endless. I have personally woven and crocheted many items using reclaimed yarn,with no problems at all. Metallic threads maybe extra stretchy and loose. I would not recommend using reclaimed yarns on knitting machines. Each hank or cake group of yarn is from a garment that has been carefullychosen for it's colorway, feel, and fiber content. Each garment is properly cleaned and dried before processing. And stored in a smoke free / pet free craft room. All info retrieved from garment as to: fiber/s, etc is writtenon tags attatched to each hank or cake, along with the counted yardage. I do not straighten the waves/wrinkles out of the yarn,as that process removes the individual character of each yarn. Some hanks or cakes, may or may not have tiny knots, either placed there by myselfor by the yarn manufacturer. Description of the color/s of the yarn may differ slightly because monitors are not all callibrated the same. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have before purchasing.
