Description: Ann Arbor Sportscar is pleased to offer a reconditioned used OEM bare “builder” engine cylinder head assembly for the stock Triumph 6-cyl.in-line 1998cc engine originally fitted in the Triumph 2000 Mk2 to ME50000, Vitesse Mk2 and GT6 models. The Stanpart casting number is 308351. The part number stamped on this cylinder head is 517528. We measured a head thickness of 3.28” with our shop caliper. This OEM cylinder head was recently serviced by our local reputable auto parts machine shop. This head was thoroughly degreased, hot-tanked, shot-peened and magnafuxed for integrity. No cracks were found or any other issues indicated by our machine shop. Please note that there is a divot missing on the end of the head (see close-up photo with quarter for scale). This imperfection is only cosmetic and will not affect sealing or performance. The head was finished in cast iron grey primer to protect it from flash-rusting. Please verify and confirm compatibility to your specific car model before buying this cylinder head. Please look carefully at all the photos.
