Description: Up for sale is a beautiful original chromo-lithograqph print from 1907 of a Red Salmon breeding male. This print was created by the venerable A. Hoen and Company Lith and printed as part of The Fishes of Alaska article from the 1906 Bulletin of the Bureau of Fisheries volume XXVI 1906. The book was printed by the Government Printing Office and the article/study authored by Warren Evermann and Edmund Goldsborough. Print is 11 by 7.5 This is an ORIGINAL print, not one of the reproductions. I am happy to send a page or two from the article for authentication. Print is beautiful color and in very nice shape. The only issue is at the top where there is the typical marks/holes and chipping from where the plate was removed from the book's binding. This will look stunning framed.
