He was Drafted by the Red Sox in 2003and made his Major League Baseball debut with the Red Sox in 2005. He played with the Red Sox through the 2011 season.Papelbon's signature on this pennant is from the very beginningof his All-Star Pitching career. He retired in 2016. This is a Rare. One of a Kind, collectible for an avid Red Sox Fan. The flag was made in 2002 by Rico/Tag/Express/PB and licensedby Minor League Baseball #MC1275289. The pennant was signed by most of the 2003 team members.These are real signatures obtained over a period of severalgames. The pennant is dated 2002. It measures 29" long and12" wide at the left end.
