Description: Appraisal description: This beautiful fashion ring is a 14ct white gold, opal and diamond cocktail ring. This is a vintage double halo style gemstone and diamond fashion ring. Set in the center in 4 prongs is one 14.03 x 10.14 mm oval cabochon cut opal. The opal weighs approximately 3.12 ct, features flash play of color that shows the full spectrum with slight red dominance. The opal contains a slight chip under one prong due to normal wear that does not detract from its beauty or stability. It is a size 7.5. Prong set in the double halo around the center are thirty-six round brillant cut diamonds. These diamonds have an estimated combined weight of 1 ctw. with GH color and VVS-2 to VS-1 clarity. The mounting is cast manufactured and assembled. Including the diamonds and gemstone the ring weighs 5.98 grams. The rise of the ring is approximately 13mm. It is stamped 14k and Italy.
