Description: This R.E.M. "Murmur" vinyl LP, released in 1983 on I.R.S. Records, is a must-have for any alternative and indie rock fan. The 33 RPM record features 12 tracks. There are some minimal hairline scratches that do not affect the high quality sound and some minor typical age ring wear to front cover (see last photo). I did notice in the first 10 seconds or so of the first song on side two ‘Catapult’ there is some slight static crackle coming from right speaker which soon disappears. Otherwise this album sounds perfect!!! The album is in English (and includes hard to decipher Stipe mumbled lyrics). Produced by Mitch Easter, the LP showcases R.E.M.'s unique underground/alternative and indie rock style that was popular in the 1980s. This item is perfect for collectors and music enthusiasts alike. This item will be shipped in a heavy duty cardboard mailer with the record inside a new poly lined inner sleeve, along with the original inner sleeve and cover protected by a polyethylene outer sleeve.
