REMANUFACTURED FUEL PUMP 1958 - 1965 RAMBLER AMERICAN

Description: This is a factory remanufactured fuel pump for 1958 - 1965 Rambler American models with the flat head or L-Head engine. This pump is NOT for the OHV engine. This is a double action fuel pump, which means that it can be used for cars with vacuum wipers. This is an AC style pump. I also have the Carter style pump, if you check my other listings. The two pump types are interchangeable. The KEM part number is 4654The original American Motors part numbers are 3155483, 3161249, 3167610, and 3163647 The equivalent Carter part numbers are M3184, M3043, and M3730 The pump is unused and has been on my warehouse shelf since it was purchased from KEM. I am selling more than one of these same items, so the pictures shown may not be the actual item you receive. All are NOS items that have been stored in ideal warehouse conditions. They are virtually identical to one another. This item is New Old Stock. That means that it is NEW, in that it has never been used, or sold to a retail customer. It is also OLD, in that a relatively long period of time has elapsed since it was manufactured. The item has been stored in ideal warehouse conditions but is still susceptible to the ravages of time. Rubber can dry, grease can congeal, metal can rust... Also, most of these items were originally shipped from the manufacturer in loose fitting cardboard boxes. Small scratches and surface wear is not uncommon. Considerable effort has been made to document and photograph the condition. B01
