Description: Renaissance Bronze Lock Jewel Box with Ornate Design Presented is a beautiful bronze lock jewel or coin box with an ornate floral design and a wood frame interior. This great box has an exterior hinge pin latch for interior lock design and is raised on four squared feet with a wood bottom. This heavy box is in lovely condition with only some nick dings, some warping of wood interior framing, some loss of gilt or gold painted exterior, some imprints or staining of previous coins in the interior of bottom, some polish remaining in spots, and some fine scratches from gentle use and care. There is no key for this locking mechanism therefor this box is being sold as is with no guarantee of a working lock mechanism. This is an excellent item for the collector of antique boxes.
