Your board, wires, rectifiers and display will be shipped on a mounted board that will be pre-wired. Your board will be professionally repaired and fully tested to the operating standards for a new board. Just turn your power off, take pics (for yourself) of where all the wires were connected to board, remove everything connected to the board, remove any plastic supports from the board including ones supporting the display, send your display with your system board as Hayward has multiple displays and I can't guarantee that I'll have a display to test your board. Every board is shipped with new rectifiers, if you include your red, black and orange wires I'll prewire the new rectifiers prior to shipping. The Rectifiers are color coded if you choose to wire them yourself. I highly recommend replacing the rectifiers after repairing a board. Package it well and send it to me with the error you are receiving on your system. The best shipping option is the USPS Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate 11? X 8.5? X 5? box. The box is free from your post office and will cost around $12.95 to ship with tracking and insurance included. Please pack the board carefully with lots of padding such as foam or newspapers. In some rare cases the system boards are too damaged to be repaired, if this is the case I will notify you and you can decide if you want it shipped back to you at your expense. I will refund your money (minus return shipping if you choose) if your board is not repairable. IT IS ALWAYS BEST TO REPAIR YOUR BOARD WHEN POSSIBLE! There are compatibility and firmware issues to be considered when exchanging system boards so it?s best to fix yours. Please beware of the exchange issues when purchasing a replacement board (especially a used one). While your board is not working, manually add chlorine to the pool with granular chlorine shock or with chlorine tablets in a floater to keep some chlorine in the pool. Keep the pH balanced and the chlorine around 3 to 5 and your pool will be fine until your board is re-installed. I currently accept the GLX-PCB-PRO system boards but it is listed as a different item.Also please note that a voltage/amperage reading of "+40.62 With 10.04A" or a "Communication Err 2" error indicates that the CPU (the main programmable) chip has failed and the board will not be repairable.
