Description: Restored antique cast iron screen door spring loaded hinge. The finish and details in the metal crisp and rust free considering it probably spent close to 100 years exposed to the weather. The spring from use is, however, very loose. While the spring should be functional it would not be best to use this if it is to be exposed to heavy traffic. It was under paint and was cleaned down to the original bare metal finish and repainted. D-6
